First Saturday is a Health and Fitness Festival

Get inspired for a New Year and a New You at Ridgefield’s Health & Fitness Festival this Saturday!

Learn how to revamp your life with traditional and new trends in making better food choices, natural nutrition supplements, fitness programs, aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, skin care products, and apparel. Relax with a massage, try out essential oils, get a free body scan, talk to a chiropractor, try out horticulture therapy, learn how art & music can help with your health.

Food with a focus on local & organic including Buckets Restaurant and BakerChics.

Fitness Classes and Activities for all ages and fitness levels at the Community Center. They include:

10:00 – Drum Circle with Opus School of Music

11:00 – Cheerleading with RHS Cheerleaders

11:30 – Plank Challenge with Tailored Fitness

12:00 – Introduction to Yoga

1:00 – Free body scans and fitness activities by Unleashed Fitness NW

2:00 – Tae Kwon Do by HS Tae Kwon Do

There will be Prize Drawings throughout the day for those who participate in any health or fitness activity.

10:00  Free Fun walk/run by Why Racing Events @ Davis Park

An easy 1-mile walk/run along the waterfront & a more challenging 3-mile run through downtown Ridgefield and along Abrams Park trails.

Register on the day of the event.

Warm up with Tailored Fitness at 9:45.

Enjoy a free healthnut smoothie prepared by Seasons Coffee Shop.

First 30 runners receive a free tee shirt.


Visit local merchants and enjoy outdoor fitness by walking through downtown, biking along the waterfront, hiking a trail at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge or creating your own outdoor fun at one of the City’s four downtown parks.
