Grand Opening Little Free Library

The Ridgefield Friends of the Library invite you to the grand opening of our first Little Free Library, Saturday, June 17th, at 10 am. It’s near the old oak tree on South Hillhurst Road and the nearest cross street is South Nighthawk Road.

A short dedication will be followed by light refreshments.  Please come and join our celebration!

Little Free Libraries are a nation-wide program to promote reading. Books in the Little Free Library will be stocked by volunteers from The Friends of the Ridgefield Library, and people are urged to donate books after they’ve read them. Several libraries will be erected in neighborhoods across the City, and one is already  up in the 700 block of Shobert.

Bring a book… take a book… or come and have a cookie!
