Make a Difference Month – Week 3

Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what we receive, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, we acknowledge the goodness in our lives. In the process, we recognize that the source of that goodness lies at least partially outside ourselves. As a result, gratitude connects us to something larger than ourselves – to our families, friends, and community.

Check out our community gratitude compilation on YouTube!

Think about how to take that inward reflection of gratitude and extend it to your community. How can Gratitude make a difference?

Gratitude Week Challenges:

Create a Thankful Wheel (directions here!)

Add to a Gratitude Tree: Starting on Monday, November 23rd find colorful tree leaves and a tree trunk at select locations. Write down what you are thankful for on the leaf and attach it to the tree!

Participate in our first ever Make a Difference Month! Each week, beginning with Ridgefield First Saturday on Saturday, November 7th, will have its own theme, activities, and challenges.

We have all had a difficult year. Take the time to care for your surroundings, spread kindness, exercise gratitude and connect to your community.
