Ridgefield Main Street Meeting on Thursday

Ridgefield Main Street Monthly Community Meeting is this Thursday, 8:30 a.m. at the Sportsman’s Roadhouse, 121 N Main. Breakfast and complimentary coffee is available. We have a full speaker contingent for this meeting, sharing lots of information, so don’t miss out.

City Manager Steve Stuart will introduce Luisa Garbo, the City’s new Community Development Department Director. He said of Ms. Garbo, “We are really excited that Louisa is joining our team. She is widely recognized as a visionary at strategic planning and has a proven track record of success creating innovative ways to connect people with place. Additionally her Fine Arts background offers a unique opportunity to enhance our partnerships with Ridgefield organizations like Ridgefield Main Street and Ridgefield Arts Association who are working to beautify and revitalize our Arts Quarter and historic Destination Downtown.”

To our good fortune, also on the speaker’s agenda is Eric Anderson, Deputy Project Lead for the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. Eric manages the day to day operations of the Refuge and is also currently overseeing visitor service programs.
