Bridgeport, Conn. – A Bridgeport man was arrested on February 4 after officers from the Bridgeport Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to reports of suspicious activity in a neighborhood that has recently faced concerns about “peeping toms” and attempted burglaries.
Incident Details
Police were called to 655 Palisades Avenue after residents reported an individual banging on windows and looking into apartments. Given the recent concerns in the area regarding peeping toms and break-in attempts, officers quickly arrived to investigate the situation.
During their investigation, police made contact with Kevin Tucker, who was found to be in violation of unrelated offenses.
Arrest and Charges
After confirming his identity, officers discovered that Tucker had failed to register as a sex offender, a legal requirement for convicted offenders. Additionally, he was charged with interfering with an officer during the arrest process.
Tucker was taken into custody and his bond was set at $10,000.
