No Injuries Reported in Vancouver House Fire, Investigation Ongoing

The Vancouver Fire Department reported that a house fire on Sunday morning led to the displacement of four individuals.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., firefighters were summoned to 2219 Simpson Avenue in response to a house fire. Upon arrival, they discovered a duplex engulfed in flames.

Eight units from the Vancouver Fire Department and multiple fire engines from Clark County Fire District Six promptly responded to the incident.

Firefighting crews utilized several hose lines to successfully extinguish the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but four individuals have been displaced as a result.

The incident is currently under investigation, and it was noted that the smoke detectors in the home were in working order.
